Williams Racing has confirmed that they will reveal their 2025 Formula 1 challenger, the FW47, on February 14. This unveiling will take place at Silverstone in front of fans, partners, and media, featuring a unique one-off livery before the official racing livery is introduced during the F1 season launch at London’s The O2.
This event marks the start of an eagerly awaited new chapter for Williams, particularly with the addition of Carlos Sainz to the team, who will share driving duties with Alex Albon. Team Principal James Vowles reflected on this significant moment, stating, “There is a tremendous amount to look forward to for Williams in 2025 – we have fantastic race drivers in Alex and Carlos, top engineers joining from across the grid, and new facilities becoming operational at our Grove HQ.”
As part of their revival strategy, Williams has been diligently working on the 2025 car, and Vowles expressed excitement for the upcoming year. “As part of our comeback plan, we have been working on our 2025 car for some time and I can’t wait to see it at Silverstone on February 14. Everyone in the team is giving everything to get this team back where it belongs as we head towards the major rule changes for 2026. It’s going to be an exciting year.”

I was very impressed with the team back in Abu Dhabi.”
