The Vision faction was the breakout heel act of WWE's 2025 main roster calendar, and Bron Breakker's reassertion of leadership has the group hunting reinforcements ahead of Backlash 2026 in Tampa.
The candidates being floated by wrestling outlets cover an unusually wide spectrum. The most concrete name is Bronson Reed, who has been off WWE television for a number of months following a serious injury but is now teasing his return on social media.
"There are now rumours that he's almost ready to return," WrestleMia reported in its Backlash preview. "Reed has been hyping up his return via social media. And it's also been reported that when he returns to television, WWE is planning to rekindle the feud between Reed and Roman Reigns, potentially for the World Heavyweight Championship."
Reed's Backlash positioning is creative. "On the card for Backlash is Seth Rollins versus Bron Breakker. At Backlash, this could act as the perfect opportunity to reintroduce Reed back into the mix… Reed helping Breakker win could be WWE's way of protecting Rollins while still making Reed look strong ahead of his planned feud with Reigns in the coming months."
If the company chooses to keep Reed off the Backlash card and save him for a stadium feud, the Vision still has interference options. "Naturally, WWE could simply have Austin Theory or Logan Paul interfere in the match to help Bron Breakker win," the report continued. "But this will be rather underwhelming and fans may leave the match feeling very disappointed."
That opens the door to a fresh recruit. Ethan Page is the leading name in that conversation. "The first being Ethan Page," the source noted. "As a former NXT champion was recently called up to Raw. And the interesting thing about Page was that he was initially rumoured to be part of the faction last year. Page fits perfectly into the faction and this could be one of the smartest choices WWE can make."
A second NXT alumnus is also in the conversation. "The second is Ricky Saints. As Saints was another name that was rumoured to be involved with the Vision faction in 2025. Saints was recently called up to SmackDown."
The most provocative rumour is the possibility of a first female member. Maxine Dupri's name has surfaced, with multiple backstage segments allegedly teasing the connection. "WWE's actively teased Maxine Dupri having an alliance with the Vision in various backstage segments," the report said. "There's also a ton of lore between Dupri and Seth Rollins' wife Becky Lynch. So this could work incredibly well and would actually make some sense. Debuting a female member of the faction would be a unique move, but WWE should be looking to take more risks in 2026 and Dupri deserves a chance to show what she can do as a heel."
The outcome of Breakker's Backlash match against Rollins is the obvious vehicle for any reveal. With Rollins potentially compromised after the Raw spear attack and the Vision storyline looking to reset its identity post-Mania, a debut at Tampa is well within WWE's preferred narrative beat structure.
Who gets that hood reveal — Reed, Page, Saints, Dupri or someone yet unnamed — is the secondary mystery layered underneath the main event card.
