Surprisingly, Daniel Ricciardo, also from McLaren but starting further back in 16th place, delivered a stellar performance by finishing fifth. "To come from 16th to 5th is amazing. The team gave me a great car, and I just pushed hard," Ricciardo said, clearly thrilled with his team's result.
Max Verstappen, currently leading the championship standings, had a less fruitful day at the race, finishing in seventh. "It was a challenging race for us, but we need to learn and come back stronger," Verstappen stated, acknowledging the hurdles faced by his team while attempting to maintain their championship lead.
