Littler sits second on 24 points. The teenager has reached four nightly finals without converting more than he has lost, but his consistency of semi-final appearances has kept him well inside the top two. Luke Humphries, the defending Premier League champion, has been the model of consistency without the nightly wins and holds third, with Gerwyn Price snapping at his heels in fourth.
Below the play-off line, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting, Gian van Veen and Josh Rock are still mathematically alive but fast running out of nights.
