CONCORD, N.C. - With two NASCAR Cup Series championships and 32 victories under his belt, there are now several venues on the schedule in which Kyle Larson has piled up some gawdy statistics. Certainly, Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of those. Coming off his first top five finish of the season in a third-place run at Phoenix Raceway last week , the numbers say Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet should be in prime position to build off that momentum as the tour heads to Sin City. Larson is a three-time winner on the 1.5-mile tri-oval, but that hardly begins to tell the story, especially of late. Entering Sunday's race, Larson has won six of the last 10 stages at Las Vegas and has four top-two finishes in his last six starts there including a pair of victories. Since arriving at Hendrick Motorsports in 2021, Larson has led 30% of all laps run there (793 of 2,681) and his career average finish of ninth is tops among all drivers with four or more starts. He also leads the series in career laps led (819) and stage wins (eight). The organization enters as the all-time leader in wins (10) , wins by different drivers (five), top fives (37), top 10s (64), laps led (2,682) and stage wins (15). One of those victories belongs to William Byron, who rolled to the checkered flag in March of 2023. He's riding a string of five top 10 showings in his last six Vegas starts. Chase Elliott also locked down a top 10 finish in this event last year. Justin Allgaier will drive the No. 48 Ally Chevy in relief of Alex Bowman, who was diagnosed with vertigo last week . Allgaier has two starts at Las Vegas in the Cup Series to his credit. He scored a win in a NASCAR O'Reilly Series race at the complex in spring of last year.
