McDowell finished the day with a score of 66, while Lahiri, who led in the second round, came in at 68. In team competitions, DeChambeau and Lahiri were pivotal in securing their second consecutive team title and their record eighth overall for the Crushers. "We’re a beast of a team," stated DeChambeau, underscoring the confidence that the team carries moving forward.
Further highlighting the excitement of the tournament, Mickelson made a memorable play by holing a backward chip from a steep slope in the greenside rough for a birdie late in his round. "One of my better ones," Mickelson remarked, demonstrating his exceptional skill even in challenging situations.
