Maryland led all conferences with five players drafted across the four-round event, an output that underscores the program's depth even after head coach John Tillman's senior class graduated. The Terps' contingent will be spread across multiple teams as they integrate into pre-season camps in early May, joining a PLL season that opens just twenty-four days after the draft.

The pick that turned heads beyond the top three was Denver's trade up to fourth overall to land Army's Evan Plunkett. The Outlaws sent three picks back to move ahead of the Cannons, an aggressive piece of capital expenditure given Plunkett's military service obligations make his immediate availability uncertain.
Maryland Whipsnakes general manager Bill Tierney's selection of Will Schaller represented a longer-term play. Schaller is currently rehabilitating an ACL injury and is unlikely to be available for the start of the 2026 season, but his upside as a defensive midfielder is significant enough that Maryland was willing to absorb the short-term cost.
