The anticipation for the 2025 motorsport season has ramped up with the unveiling of the Formula 2 and Formula 3 calendars. Both series are set to provide thrilling support to the Formula 1 weekends, with F2 featuring 14 rounds and F3 participating across 10 events spanning three continents.
"We’re excited to kick off the season in Melbourne, which has always been a popular venue for fans and drivers alike," said an F1 spokesperson during the announcement. The season opener is scheduled for March 14-16 in Australia, providing a vibrant backdrop for the series premieres.
Following Melbourne, the action will shift to the Bahrain International Circuit. Here, teams will compete from April 11-13, marking the second round of the series. "Bahrain’s circuit presents unique challenges, and it’s a fantastic place to gauge our early season progress," added the spokesperson.

The schedule will see the teams head to Jeddah for a back-to-back race weekend from April 18-20, continuing the strong momentum built in the first two races. This will mark the first of several busy periods for the teams.
After the races in the Middle East, both championships will transition to Europe for a critical triple-header series. Starting in Imola from May 16-18, the F2 and F3 series will then make their way to the iconic streets of Monaco from May 22-25. Concluding this exciting segment is the event in Barcelona, slated for May 30 to June 1. "The historic tracks in Europe will test the drivers' skills and strategies, and we’re looking forward to some thrilling races," said a prominent team manager.
The next destination will be Silverstone, UK, where both series will race from July 4-6. "Silverstone is a track steeped in history, and our drivers always relish the opportunity to compete there," remarked an F3 team principal.
July will also see a double header in Belgium at Spa-Francorchamps from July 25-27, followed by the Hungaroring in Budapest from August 1-3. These venues are notorious for their unique characteristics and will undoubtedly add excitement to the summer schedule.
After a short summer break, the series resume racing at the famed Monza in Italy from September 5-7. This event will mark the final round for the Formula 3 season, promising an exhilarating finish to the championship battle.
